Three Drawer Chinese Meditation Table 53" Wide

This reproduction. Chinese table is about 80- 100 years old and was found by us in northern China. This kind of table was use in the farming towns for writing scrolls and documents. Many eastern cultures sat on the floor so a table like this was used for writing or eating and used for meditation. Made of solid elm wood in lipstick red has three drawers and nicely painted with floral designs . The sides are carved in a cloud shapes. This can be used as a lowboy , coffee table or bench.. Origin: Shanxi. LIMITED SUPPLY. 53 by 14 by 19 inches high. What a  unique addition in a contemporary, or cottage interior.
