Shipping & Returns

We have over 30 years of experience shipping our merchandise all over the world. We take utmost care in packing. We use proprietary packing techniques and custom shipping boxes to insure safety and minimize the possibility of damage during travel. Each order is carefully inspected before we ship it.

Your order is fully insured. The cost of insurance is included in our shipping price.

Our products are shipped from our Oriental furniture Warehouse, 602 West Ave, Norwalk, Connecticut, 06850.

Method

We use UPS, FEDEX , U.S.P. and several freight carriers to ship our items. We also use local moving companies to deliver items to homes on the East Coast.

Shipping Costs

Shipping cost is determined by size, weight and destination. Your shipping charges will be displayed when you check out. These shipping cost are discounted in the case of a return you will be charged the actual shipping cost.

 

Additional Shipping Options

Overnight, Second Day and International shipping options are available. Please call if you wish to use one of these options.

Availability

We ship most orders within 2 days. Shipping transit time will vary depending on location and shipping option. Most orders are received within 2-5 days.

 

Refund Policy

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is a result of a  shipping error.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, return the item in its original packaging 14 days after arrival. All returns must be packed w/ original packing materials and packed in the same way. We will credit back the cost of the item. You will not be refunded the actual shipping cost and or the return shipping cost.

Please contact us with any questions prior to placing a order if you are trying to match furniture, accessory or decor items. We are happy to provide additional photos . We can not guarantee matching items. If you are unhappy with your item we will credit back the cost of the item. You will not be refunded the actual shipping cost and or the return shipping cost.

In the case of a return with "Free Shipping" or "discounted shipping" you will be charged the actual round trip shipping cost. Proof of actual shipping cost can be provided.

To process your refund allow up to two weeks. If you canceled a payment by credit card your refund will be delayed. We do not refund shipping costs on returns. We do not refund damage claims if you have not followed our damage claim policy.

Refunds or exchanges for furniture returns will be processed when the item(s) has been received.. Please allow up to 2 to 3 weeks for your refund or exchange to process. There will be a 5% restocking fee on your return. If you decide to keep a "store credit" for returned merchandise, the fee may be waived. Please call, if you'd like to choose this option.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.

 

Return Policy

If you have ordered an item online and are unhappy with your purchase, return the item in its original packaging 14 days after arrival. We will credit back the cost of the item. You will not be refunded the shipping cost and or the return shipping cost. Please note we hold the right to refuse returns or exchanges due to customers mistreatment.

We need to be notified of your return in order to issue you a R.M.A (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Contact us at info@orientalfurnishings.com or by phone 877-674-4542 to receive your number. Please write this RMA number on the return carton. Deliveries refused for any reason other than damage will be charged a return shipping fee.

Please include all original content in your return package such as the invoice or packing list along with a written RMA number on the parcel. Our return address is listed below. Please ensure your return does not get damaged. You are responsible if damage, or loss occurs during the return back to us.

Returns on "free shipping" or "discounted shipping". Customer is to return the item in original packing and pay the actual shipping cost and the return shipping cost.

Cancellation/Refused Packages

If you choose to cancel your order before it has been shipped you may receive a refund and an additional 5% restocking fee.

In the event you choose to cancel your order after it has been shipped you may receive a refund and an additional 5% restocking fee as well as any shipping costs.

 If you refuse to accept the package once it has been delivered or shipped you will be charged for return shipping.
