Oriental Baby Stool Solid Elmwood Natural Finish

This exotic Chinese antique style stool is from northern China and is a reproduction of turn of the century country furniture. Artisans in Shanghai, China, made this stool from solid hardwood. A hand rubbed clear lacquer enhances the natural grain of the solid wood stool. The sides are slightly distressed and rounded for comfort. This sturdy shape is reminiscent of a quarter moon and is called a moon stool in China. The legs have stretchers for added strength for adult use. Clean and simple lines; it measures 16"W x 8"D x 12" high. A wonderful gift for a child, and a great sitting stool for gardening.
