Large Carved Fish Bowl with Geisha Design

This vintage 50-70 year old planter is a collectible from the Beijing region of China. It's a master piece of Chinese glazed porcelain. Thousands of detailed brush strokes were used in the detailing of this fine collectible Qing dynasty reproduction bowl.The glaze details are thick to the touch with a vast color assortment to work in any decor plan. The bottom is signed with chop and made by a master craftsman. This rare hand painted Geisha design fishbowl has carved Oriental landscape full of details. The design is composed of landscape of Geisha in an Oriental courtyard with Birds and Flowers all around the fishbowl. This Oriental shaped planter is taller, base is fluted and rim is smaller than the widely popular canton shaped bowl. Finely detailed Koi fish hand painted inside.
