Elegant and robust, this Chinese Vintage seventeen inch porcelain table bowl is handmade and crafted with a bold oxblood glaze and made by expert potters, shaping and using a potter wheel. Unlike mass manufacturing ceramic, this handcrafted bowl is thicker and beautifully flared out. The deep red color is called Ox Blood, which is notoriously difficult to control under the heat of a kiln. The white trim is the underglaze body replicating a traditional Chinese shape and color glaze. This large porcelain table bowl is distinct and rare in shape, color, and size.
