This set includes two large, hand-carved antique Oriental lattice panels, each 52 inches tall. These rare pieces come from northern China and are estimated to be 80 to 120 years old. They are in very good condition, featuring detailed Chinese vase and flower center panels and a complex floral grid design. We found these matching Chinese elm wood panels in the countryside, where they were used as window ornaments, and had them carefully restored by local craftsmen. Each antique panel is handmade, joined with mortise and tenon, and finished in a natural medium brown, similar to walnut.
