Ceramic Garden Stool Plant Stand

Dating back to about 1960, it was collected in China before being imported to the United States. These are in excellent condition and are ready to be used as a statue, table, or plant stand. Handmade by potters and expertly fired in traditional three colors featuring antique white, deep blue, and rust-brown glazing. In Asia, elephants represent symbols of good luck, and this one features the trunk in a natural, relaxed pose. The glossy, antique-white glaze was hand-painted in vivid blue and rust brown, featuring masterful carving. The Oriental hand-painted chain is used as a decorative element, signifying knowledge, security, and good fortune. On top of the elephant's back is a pedestal. The flat top offers a 10 x 7-inch flat surface.
