Antique Chinese Chest on Chest with Eighteen Carved Panels

This 41 " wide antique Chinese two part stacking cabinet is about 80-110 years old and from Shanghai, China, where we were able to collect a few rare Chinese antique chests. Restored by expert artisans in China and refinished with a clear lacquer finish to highlight the natural wood grain and original decorative artwork of this solid emwood antique. Finely detailed, with eighteen carved panels of florals, calligraphy, and eggshell adornments on its four doors. This stacking two piece cabinet provides plenty of open storage and four drawers behind the doors. This Chinese vintage cabinet measures 41" Wide x 20" Deep x 66" High and comes in two easy to move parts. Consider using this as an armoire, entertainment center, or bookcase for storage, or as a showcase highlight in any room. This modular chest can also be used as two separate pieces, as a hall chest, or as a storage chest. The bold yet straightforward Asian design works well in any modern or contemporary interior, and the natural wood grain is highlighted with a clear, water resistant lacquer.
