This distressed Chinese reproduction sofa table features drawers and doors, a shiny red lacquer, and antique finish brass hardware. Handmade from solid elmwood in Northern China, this piece features Ming styling with elegant horse hoof feet and simple, clean lines. It is also known as a young lady chest, as it is used as a bedroom vanity. The distressed finish uses "Lipstick red lacquer” with black highlights and faux worn areas that expose some of the natural wood underbody, enhanced with a clear, shiny, water-resistant lacquer. Use in a bedroom as a vanity, the living room as a hall table, or as an entry piece. Works in a modern, rustic, or cottage interior. Finished inside and out. Great for spaces that need a small piece with large decorative results.
