A treasure of a find, this large Imari porcelain planter is hand-made with blue and rust colored arabesque glazing in floral patterns on an off white background. Older Chinese porcelains have a thick hand glazing that is textured to the touch and, like collectable Chinese porcelain, are relatively heavy. This vintage Chinese fishbowl features birds and a floral bouquet painted on the inside of the Planter and a signature chop on the bottom. The multiple details of this vintage Asian Planter are seldom found or produced today. This Chinese Jardenier is painted with a rich floral palette.
