This collectible Zisha ceramic statue depicts Kuan Yin, the compassionate Buddha, standing with a bottle in hand, quenching the thirst of the fiery dragon. Made with purple clay, this matte black ceramic glaze is common in ceramics from the Yixing area of China. Finely detailed, it is a classic among collectors. The figure is Kwan Yuen, the goddess of mercy, with her hand outstretched with a water bottle. She is standing on water and offering a drink to a thirsty dragon.
