This collectible Zisha ceramic statue depicts Kuan Yin, the compassionate Buddha, standing with a bottle in hand, quenching the thirst of the fiery dragon. Made with purple clay, this matte black ceramic glaze is common in ceramics from the Yixing area of China. Finely detailed, it is a classic among collectors. The figure is Kwan Yuen, the goddess of mercy, with her hand outstretched with a water bottle. She is standing on water and offering a drink to a thirsty dragon. The details of the hands and the robe are outstanding. There is one other feature: this statue is a bottle. Simply fill the dragon's mouth with water from a faucet until it's full, then tilt it downward, and the water will flow into the inside, top of this sculpture. Then stand it upright and watch the water drip from the bottle in her hands into the dragon's mouth. Use this Asian decorative porcelain on a table top, or as a gift for any occasion.
