Cloisonne Incense Burner 8" H

   This rare three legged incense bowl has outstanding colors and functional as a incense burner.  Incense is something that facilitates meditation and can be purifying in the case of frankincense and myrrh. It is a natural way to add a beneficial energy to the house and a pleasant aroma. Incense can lift the spirits. The incense bowl is copper cast and inlaid with enamel and fired to create Cloisonné. The blue glass enamel with the flowers and plumes(cloisonné) are done by hand.  It has holes in the lid to release the incense smoke. There are handles shaped as dragons. Each leg of the incense bowl is molded as a foo dog face and paw.  The rim of the lid and bowl, the handles and the legs show off the beauty of the brass. This makes a lovely wedding present or retirement gift.
