Chinese Cloisonne Vase in Three Ring Pattern Set of Two

An exceptional handcrafted Cloissone vase set with three rings in bird and flower design made with hand twisted copper wires soldered to this unique copper fishtail vase. Then the wiring is filled with colored enamels, fired multiple times to fuse and harden the enamel, and then polished to a smooth finish. The finished vase is smooth, not protruding, and the wirework (cloisons) is intricate and complex. This vintage pair from the 1970s- 1980's is from our special overseas collector. The coloration is unique, almost glasslike, with deep greens and celery green, and the brass wire pattern is complex yet simple. This pair comes with floral carved wooden stands.
