This exotic Chinese antique armoire is from northern, China and is about 80 years old.  It is also called a wedding chest as it is a traditional wedding gift. We found this Chinese elm wood cabinet in the Chinese countryside and had it restored by local craftsmen.  Two large doors with shelf and 2 more drawers behind the two doors, and additional two drawers at the bottom makes a wonderful wardrobe. Refinished with new big brass hardware, this handsome red lacquer armoire is hand painted in a Chinese landscape design. Clean and simple lines with Ming style elements it measurements   42"x 22"x 75"High Use in a bedroom for clothing or in the living room as a entertainment center.
