31" W. Chinese antique cabinet with saw carving

This 31" W. Chinese antique cabinet with  panels and saw carving is from northern, China and is about 50 years-70 old.  We found this Chinese elm wood cabinet in the Chinese country side and had it restored by local craftsmen.  Two doors with a shelf, paneled construction and carved arabesque makes this rustic item a real gem. Refinished with brass hardware ,this handsome antique oriental chest has hints of its original red lacquer .  Clean and simple lines with Ming style elements it measures 31" x 14" x 33 inch high. Use in a bedroom as a end table or in the living room as a server. Works in a modern, rustic or cottage interior. Refinished inside and out.
