Loading... Please wait...This Mongolian antique chest was found by us and refinished by our staff in china. The cabinet is made of elm wood and the finish is new,and we wanted a strong accent piece so we had it painted lip stick red with some black under coating for a rich deep finish. The drawers on top have simple Ming style brass pulls and then the doors are carved in a playful vine shape with vase shaped brass. The inside is finished in a dark red mahogany color, that shows the natural wood grains. Also there is a shelf behind the two doors. Another feature are the rounded top sides displaying a feng shui design qualities. These are 60 to 80 years old. . Origin: Mongolia, China they measure 45 by 15 by 33 inches high. The price is more than fair for this item and all it has to offer.
