In support of our nation's effort to contain COVID-19, we reach out today and share facts about what we're doing to ensure we meet the needs of our customers as well as provide for the health and safety of our employees.  These steps include:

- All non-essential employees have been transitioned to remote work from home arrangements.

- All essential employees have been issued masks, instructed on their use, in addition to regular hand washing and spraying down of common surfaces.

- Our Norwalk Showroom has reopened!  Because of the absolute need to maintain a hygienic work environment, we ask all customers to wear a mask.   Entry is not possible without appropriate face covering.  Customer service is also available via website chat, email and phone to assist in your purchasing decisions.

Safety of Merchandise and Important:

It's important to understand the shipping time of ocean freight via container from Asia exceeds the viral survivability of the coronavirus itself.
Research published March 17th in The New England Journal of Medicine indicates Coronavirus can survive up to 3 hours in air, 24 hours on cardboard, and up to 3 days on steel and plastic.  Ocean freight from Asia requires anywhere from 30-45 days.
Domestic shipping of 5-7 days within the United States will doubly exceed viral survivability.  Research indicates virus is inactivated on surfaces within 1 minute if cleaned with solutions containing 60-70% ethanol alcohol.  Household disinfectants are equally effective. With these, clean for several minutes to be sure.

The outbreak originated December 2019 in the inland province of Hubei.  Our manufacturing centers are coastal, about 500 - 600 miles away.
Our most recent inventory arrived stateside last December, having left China in November prior to outbreak, with assembly and manufacture prior to that.
All merchandise on hand pre-dates coronavirus outbreak and is sold from our local 7,000 sq foot showroom and 10,000 sq foot warehouse.
Custom or Special Orders have been rerouted to alternative sourcing, and will continue to be moving forward.
